PAYTWEEN COOKIES POLICY

This Cookie Policy shall form part of the Paytween Terms and Conditions.

This website uses cookies. A cookie is a file that is downloaded to a User’s device (computer, tablet, phone), more specifically to its browser, when accessing certain webpages in order to store and recover browsing information from said device, such as pages visited, types of products and services searched for or purchased, etc. With the information, the cookie creates a registry of said these preferences and activities.

The cookies used allow for storage of the user’s general preferences and preferred language in order to display contents and offers of special interest in accordance with his or her profile as well as registering the number of times a given message has been shown to a User (usually, the latest news on the Website [hereafter defined]).

Paytween uses cookies to improve the browsing of its website and to obtain greater efficiency and personalization of products and services offered to website Users.

The Application “Paytween” (the “App”) and the website www.paytween.com (the “Website”) are administered by PAYTWEEN, LLC with registered office at 1405 Langly Place, McLean, VA 22101, USA (“Paytween”).

Users may freely decide on the installation of cookies on their device. In this regard, Users may configure the browser to accept or reject all cookies by default or to receive an on-screen warning of the receipt of each cookie and decide, in the moment, whether to allow its installation on the hard drive or not. To configure these settings, we recommend that Users refer to the “help” section in their browser to find out how to change the configuration.

The cookies used by Paytween (under the terms of the Privacy Policy) or a third party acting on their behalf, are only associated to an anonymous User and his or her device’s browser, and do not, themselves, provide personal data about the User. Paytween uses the following cookies:

Paytween cookies are those which are sent to the User’s browser from a terminal or domain managed by the publisher, in this case Paytween, and from which the service requested by the User is rendered.

Session cookies are a type of cookie designed to gather and store data while the user is accessing a Website.

Analysis cookies are those which, either processed by Paytween or by a third party, allow for the measurement of the number of Users and, thus, statistical measurement and analysis of the use of the service offered by Users. To achieve this, User browsing behavior on our Website is analyzed in order to improve the products and services we offer.

The application we use to obtain and analyze browsing information is:

Google Analytics: Google Analytics and Google Analytics Privacy

This application has been developed by Google and provides us with analysis services of our Website’s audience.

This tool does not obtain the first or last names of Users or the postal address from which they are connecting. The information obtained is related, for example, to the number of pages visited, the language, social networks on which users publish things about us, the city where the User’s IP address accesses the Website, the number of Users that visit the site, the frequency and repetition of visits, the length of time of visits, the browser they use, the Telecom Provider they use, or the type of terminal from which they visit the Website.

We use this information to improve our Website, detect new areas of need, and evaluate the improvements needed in order to provide better service to the Users who visit it.

In particular, the information obtained from the installation of cookies, with the authorization of each User, is used for the following purposes: sending Users information about Paytween products; the communication and execution of promotional activities, deals, discounts, and advertising of our products on any medium; the execution of satisfaction surveys; and the generation of statistics.

Cookies allow the Paytween server or a third party acting on behalf of Paytween to recognize the browser used by the user’s device to provide a simpler browsing experience, allowing, for example, access to those users who have previously registered to areas, services, promotions, or contests reserved exclusively for them without having to register again with each new visit. The data obtained through the use of cookies is, then, sent to Google.

If the User has accepted the use of cookies, he or she may see which server is using the cookies. To do so, Users should consult the instructions in their browser. Users have the option to configure their browser to generate an on-screen warning for the receipt of cookies and to block their installation on the hard disk. Please, consult the browser’s instructions and manuals for further information. It is not necessary that the User allow the installation of cookies sent by Paytween or by any third party acting on their behalf to use the Paytween Website. That said, without cookies the User will need to login to the services that require it each time he or she would like to use them.

Browsing of the Website and usage of the App implies full and unconditional acceptance of the use of cookies, under the terms described in this policy, barring express refusal to the contrary by the User.

Do Not Track Signals

Some browsers and services may allow Users to automatically send a “Do Not Track” signal.  Our Website are not programmed to respond to any “Do Not Track” signal.  As such, Paytween does not alter its data collection practices, including the use of cookies, when it receives a “Do Not Track” signal.
